She attends Portland State University and is enrolled in their pre-medicine program and plans to attend OHSU for their Doctor of Medicine program.
Linda also loves to spend time with her family and friends, and though she has no dogs of her own, she is particularly sweet on a blue-heeler named Luke who also likes to adventure and explore.
Letha Pease, Massage Therapist
Letha has not always been a massage therapist. She began with graduating from Humboldt State University with a BS degree and pursued a career as an ecologist for US Fish and Wildlife. At the end of 2003 she lost her job due to government budget cuts.
In Dec of 2004 Letha received assignment as a US Peace Corps Volunteer and spent over two years stationed in the Philippines teaching sustainable fishing practices to local villagers as well as encouraging local teens to learn more about current local and global environmental issues.
Letha returned to the US at the beginning of the economic recession and joined a wilderness trail crew repairing and maintaining tread on the Pacific Crest Trail. For the next four years Letha led trail crews on the PCT and in the Umatilla National Forest in NE Oregon.
In the fall of 2011, Letha received a second assignment with US Peace Corps. Instead of leaving the country a second time, Letha decided to stay in Portland and enroll at East West College for massage therapy. During her first term at East West she knew she had found her calling. After graduation she immediately began working at a busy chiropractic clinic in Gresham as well as a trendy spa near downtown Portland. “Working at the chiropractic clinic helped me perfect my technique for relieving pain associated with chronic injuries and motor vehicle accidents. My style of massage at the spa focused more on relaxation and melting away muscle tension.” In December of 2015 Letha decided to open her own massage practice. Originally located on Sandy Blvd in the Hollywood district she has now relocated to Spine Tree Chiropractic on NE Killingsworth. “If you are looking for an awesome, yet professional, massage therapist I suggest stopping by to see Letha.” – Nicole H.
When Letha is not working she enjoys racing with her sailing team on the Columbia River, hiking and backpacking in the Cascade Mountains, and spending time with her wonderful family and her fur-baby Luna the cat.
